WE MOVED! :-) STILL IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NEPA

LATELY I'VE TRANSITIONED TO GARDENING AND ADDING SUPPORTIVE PLANTING TO OUR AREA TO HELP OUR LIVES BY HELPING THE POLLINATORS LIKE BEES, BUTTERFLIES AND HUMMINGBIRDS.

Less barren un-life-supporting green grass lawns, more food for our planet 

               (maybe we'll add clover , healthy dandelions)

We've started adding flowers in our new previously-barren backyard. It's a start.... more to come.

Here's something we've experienced so far:

We added a row of tall conical bushes along one fence.

We will add apple trees in the rear,veggies herbs, berry bush,..

RAINBOWS

We've been having a warmer than normal winter so  far.

This week is frigid.

Yesterday, Sunday January 10, 2016, it was warm - upper 40's to low 50's. YAY!!!

It was raining at times, and drizzling at times.

The sun started peeking out around 11am, with a drizzle. then...

RAINBOW!!!

As we traveled from Plains by the river, past Wilkes-Barre, 

there were some dramatic clouds in the clearing sky. 

 Early afternoon, here's the SECOND STUNNING RAINBOW!

friday the 13th full moon

My 1st post after a long pause is of a moon I saw early this morning. 

       FULL MOON 

(I believe specifically it's the day after, but what a beauty!)

and it's on FRIDAY THE 13TH!
